Villa Angela is the perfect way to enjoy the serenity of miraculous lakes. Set on a quiet village of Soline, this beautiful Villa's balconies have been positioned to capture the breathtaking view of the lake, nature and the forest which the property is surrounded by.
It consists of three apartments in the main building, all having balcony with sea-view, and one separate unit, in a rustic house, with a beautiful view on lake, palms, hills. There is a parking place provided for the guests of VIlla Angela.
The island of Mljet as an Adriatic oasis of unspoiled nature is an unavoidable destination for many tourists seeking peace and true touch with nature, but also those who are looking for an active holidays. Island offers a lot to those who are interested in cycling and hiking, with beautiful paths around lakes and through the forests. Two marvelous lakes and clear blue sea are true spot for those interested in kayaking or diving. Enchanting underwater world will stay in your memories and make you come back again.
Location
Villa Angela is situated in the peacefull village Soline, in the canal of the same name, exiting the Large Lake towards the open sea. In the vicinity of the Villa Angela are the island of St. Mary in the Great Lake with the ancient Benedictine monastery dating from the 12-th century, remains of the late Roman palace in Polace, the view point Montokuc and other points of interest.
If you arrive with a car, you will use the Jadrolinija ferry going from Prapratno (Pelješac) to Sobra (Mljet). Once you arrive in Sobra, you will drive in direction of the National Park. For those who decide to come without car, there are two catamaran lines "Krilo" and "Nona Ana". Krilo catamaran comes from Dubrovnik and Split to port of Pomena, from where you can use taxi service or request a transfer (extra fee) offered by the owners. Nona Ana catamaran goes from Dubrovnik to Polače, from where you also use transfer services. Schedules of the lines can be found on the links menu at the bottom of the page.
Surroundings
Mljet is one of the most seductive of all the Adriatic islands. Much of the island is covered by forests and the rest is dotted with fields, vineyards and small villages. The northwestern half contains Mljet National Park, where the lush vegetation, pine forests and spectacular saltwater lakes are exceptionally scenic. It’s an unspoiled oasis of tranquillity that, according to legend, captivated Odysseus for seven years.
Mljet National Park makes up most of the island, and there are several villages, two salt water lakes - Veliko and Malo jezero, and a Benedictine monastery on the island of sv. Marija (St. Mary). In Polače there are some of the best natural anchorages in the Adriatic.

If you are an admirer of the underwater world you can find a diving school which will show you some of the most attractive diving locations in the Adriatic with a lot of underwater life and old ship wreckage.
The area of the Mljet island and especially of the National park has many biking tracks which are among the best in Europe. You can rent cars, scooters, bicycles, canoes, kayaks, windsurf boards to explore the island by yourself.
